OVERVIEW

I reserve the right to decline your commission. If I am not comfortable drawing it, then I will not take it. I also have the right to charge extra for certain elements.

Only the commissioner of the artwork has the right to use of the artwork. Use by others is not allowed unless the commissioner gives permission to do so. Do not claim that the art is your own. All commissions will contain my signature. If you attempt to alter the picture to claim it as your own, I will not take further commissions from you and you will be reported. Once the commission is completed, I will send you the full sized image. I will post all commissions on my Tumblr and Twitter and will tag the commissioner. You can ask to have the commission remain private and I will gladly do so.

Imagery I will not draw:

I will not draw anything depicting abuse, pedophilia, beastiality, incest, or ships between adults and minors or anything with a large age gap. Racist, homophobic, transphobic, acephobic, sexist, and ableist themes are also not allowed.

PAYMENT

Payment is only through Paypal. Payment must be given up front. I will not start your commission until I receive payment. I do not give refunds if the commission is 100% done. If the initial sketch has not yet been approved, you will receive a full refund. If the initial sketch has already been approved and I have moved onto line art and coloring, you will receive a 50% refund. I will send you an invoice to your Paypal email. This invoice is how I charge commissioners and how I keep track of commission payments for my personal records. All prices are listed in USD. Information about adding additional characters, props, or other extras are listed on my pricing page.

After the payment has been received and I start on your commission, I will give you an initial sketch of the drawing for your approval. At this stage, I am willing to make certain changes such as adjusting the expression and pose of a character or fixing any errors. Once the initial sketch is approved, I will move on to the line art and coloring. Once the commission is done, I will only provide fixes to minor errors. (Wrong or missing tattoos, jewelry, etc.)

I do require visual references. Drawing characters using a description alone is difficult. I love references. The more you can give me, the better. Fully colored, full body references are the best reference you can give me. I do not design characters completely from scratch for people unless they are my close friends so please keep this in mind.

When commissioning me, please give me a good idea of what you want. In addition to visual references, please give me details on the expression of the character(s) as well as posing. Information about a character's personality is also helpful and gives me a better idea of that character. If the commission includes props then please provide references for those as well.

I try to start on commissions as soon as I get them, and I try to finish them within a week or two if possible. If your commission is more complex then it may take longer to complete. Please feel free to contact me at any time for questions and updates!

I offer commissions of various types. I have examples provided below. Please look through everything thoroughly and make sure you know what you want before commissioning me.

Bust: Shoulders and head.
Half-body: Waist and up.
Full-body: The entire character.

FAQ

What program do you use?

I use Clip Studio Paint as well as my Huion Kamvas Pro 16 drawing tablet.

What brushes do you use?

Honestly, I just use the default brushes that come with CSP. They work just fine for me but I do sometimes like to play with whatever cool ones I happen to find.

How long have you been an artist?

I've been interested in art ever since I was a little kid. But I got serious about my art when I was a sophomore in high school and I've been drawing ever since, which would be about 7 or 8 years! I have taken the occasional art class after high school but I am mostly self-taught!

I want to commission you, but your commissions are closed! What do I do?

If my commissions are closed, then you will have to just be patient and wait until I open them again. I try not to overwhelm myself with commissions so sometimes I have to close them. Keep an eye on this site and on my social media to see when I open them again!

Do you have a waitlist for commission slots?

No, I do not have a waitlist. You will just have to check back once and a while to see when I open them!

If I commission you, can I repost the artwork?

By all means! It's yours once I'm done with it! Use it wherever you like. Credit is not required but appreciated. I do ask that you not use it for merchandise or for profit, however.
